A national home care provider is seeking a Senior Application Systems Analyst for a fully remote position. This role involves supporting software solutions crucial to business functions and includes responsibilities such as system analysis, configuration, and support. Job Summary / Purpose:
This is a temporary contract role. This is a fully remote role.
The Senior Application Systems Analyst is responsible for the support of software solutions that provide the framework for key business functions of their clients. This individual will be responsible for understanding both technical and business concepts and must be able to communicate those concepts to internal users. The Applications Systems Analyst will be responsible for defining system objectives and features, analyzing business requirements, performing impact analysis, and working with all involved parties to ensure the solution meets the needs of the client. Additional responsibilities will include performing second and third level support including integrations, management of vendor product releases, configuration, testing and implementation of upgrades. The Senior Applications Systems Analyst will create and maintain all associated user documentation in the form of application, configuration and training guides.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively manage and meet stakeholders’ priorities and expectations while assuming the role of a subject matter expert through deep intellectual curiosity and drive to learn.
Utilize strong analytical skills and expanding subject matter expertise to interpret customer business needs and changing requirements for impact analysis into application and operational changes.
Responsible for performing internal system configuration and changes to improve process and align with system updates.
Assist in process and workflow analysis as needed to improve system utilization and user productivity.
Participate in the development of test plans and use cases that accurately describe business requirements.
Provide second level application support by participating in the identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of application issues. Assures follow-through on reported problems to final resolution.
Participate in the application release process fulfilling the role as subject matter expert, conduct testing, locate potential problems, and solve them in an efficient manner.
Support general business needs, as required.
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
Demonstrate an increased level of technical skills in one or more specific platforms.
Experience with one or more programming languages, administrative or software configuration capabilities.
Strong knowledge of subject-specific technologies such as iCIMS, Workday, or other ATS platforms is required.
Strong knowledge of technologies such as Docusign or other e-signature platforms is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical audiences.
Excellent analytical skills, exhibits good judgment, and problem solving abilities.
Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Strong time management skills.
Self-starter and team player who excels at building trusting relationships.
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills, Education and Certifications:
3+ years of experience or relevant experience with growing responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar field or equivalent years of work experience
Superb time management and multitasking skills
Experience and knowledge of the Home Care/Personal Care market and industry.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel approximately up to 10% of the time
Ability to lift and carry up to 15-20 pounds
Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged period of time throughout the work day
Ability to use standard office equipment such as personal computer, laptop, telephone, photocopy machine, etc.
