Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to oversee daily administration, support, and maintenance of over 140 business applications. The role includes production deployments, system performance monitoring, and collaboration with vendors to prevent outages.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS or four years of equivalent experience, strong database and release-management skills, and a willingness to be on-call 24/7 with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with database administration and production deployment processes.
• Ability to be on-call 24/7 and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily IT administration, support, maintenance, and production readiness for 140+ apps.
• Performs tier 3 escalation, troubleshooting, and outage prevention with vendors and teams.
• Coordinates testing environments and adheres to change management and release schedules.
• Oversees vendor management, SLAs, and alignment with business strategy and security.

Job Responsibilities:

Manages the daily administration, support, maintenance, database administration, proactive monitoring, moving development software into production, system performance and capacity, software compatibility and upgrades, vendor management, application and system run book documentation for over 140 business applicationsPerforms tier 3 escalation for all software applications hosted internally and externally and works closely with other IT functional areas and vendors to troubleshoot, debug, communicate, document, resolve and prevent system outages and disruptions 24x7Provides feedback and documentation to the design team and Service Desk as necessary to adjust standards and proceduresCoordinates with Testing and QA to create, refresh and stage testing environmentsAdheres to the software release schedule, software compatibility matrix, and change managementCommunicates to all levels of the organization and assists and follows up on any scheduled or unscheduled system outagesOversees vendor management, vendor relations and escalation, enforcement of service level agreements and monitoring and ensuring vendor alignment with business strategic directionThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Skills:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
• Ability to exercise excellent troubleshooting skills to analyze problems objectively
• Ability to be on-call 24/7 and willingness to work flexible shifts
