This position is responsible for working with academic units to ensure proper coding and maintenance of all degree requirements in UNT’s degree audit application. Requires extensive knowledge and understanding of student, curricular, and academic records, processes, and academic policies and procedures, including the ability to identify and address problems. Maintaining updated degree audits and sequencing has a direct impact on enrollment and retention. Requires superior analytical and problem‑solving skills with demonstrated competence in the use of logic. NOTE: This is a technical position and is not student facing.
Associate’s degree in a related field and two years of work experience in computing, information systems, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Proficient understanding of relational database, client‑server concepts, and computer programming, and an understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle. Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel). Certifications in supported technologies. Excellent organization, teamwork, problem‑solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
Communicating with others to exchange information. Sedentary work primarily involving sitting or standing.
No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Mon‑Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with occasional overtime.
