Application Support Analyst II

The Jack Henry Card Management Host System's Application Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all phases of their assigned projects related to Debit Card installations are completed successfully and according to agreed-upon timelines. This includes balancing general ledgers, validating transactions, training clients remotely, and troubleshooting card issues.

This position is a hybrid role requiring at least 1 day per week in either Springfield, MO, or Monett, MO.

What you'll be responsible for:
  1. Analyzing the customer's existing products/processes and consulting with the customer to map the existing system to the JHA product.
  2. Preparing the customer for installation, guiding them through the process, and providing training or support post-installation.
  3. Overseeing/system setup for the customer (e.g., parameter setup, creating job files for processing). Ensuring related business processes will run on the software.
  4. Providing software support and guidance by answering questions on functions, features, and usage of software products, either onsite or remotely.
  5. Communicating customer needs and expectations with programmers, team members, and team leaders.
  6. Maintaining effective communication with the customer throughout the project.
  7. Preparing training materials and documentation for customers and internal users.
  8. Performing other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
  1. At least 18 months of experience in a financial institution, applications analysis, or software implementation.
  2. Ability to travel up to 10%.
  3. Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
Nice to have:
  • Experience analyzing and converting customer information for setup in JHA systems.
  • Knowledge of the financial/credit union industry or related fields.
  • Familiarity with JHA products, competitor products, and application functions.
  • Computer skills and general knowledge of information systems.
  • Understanding of business operations and procedures.
