Job summary

The City and County of Denver’s Office of Municipal Public Defender seeks an Administrator I to join our team. The position is 100% on-site at 710 W Colfax, Denver, CO, with a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule and flexible hours as needed.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of professional experience, plus strong data/reporting and cross-functional collaboration skills. Comprehensive benefits are provided, with salary range described below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Three (3) years’ professional level experience in a related function.
• Education/Experience Equivalency: 1 year substituted for each year of post-high school education.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative activities and participates in long-range planning for OMPD.
• Provides technical support and guidance on case management systems.
• Handles sensitive issues and inquiries with discretion.
• Assists in policy development and evaluates impact of changes.
• Conducts studies and prepares reports with findings and recommendations.
• Develops plans to evaluate procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• May supervise staff and manage performance.
