Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support, training, and commissioning of coating systems across the EMEA region. You will solve complex challenges directly at customer sites and travel extensively.

A strong electrical/mechanical background and fluent English are essential. You will audit equipment, troubleshoot issues, install and commission systems, and work with sales to identify spare parts and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers across the EMEA region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and system performance.
• Conduct equipment audits, troubleshoot technical issues, and give recommendations to help customers optimize their manufacturing processes.
• Install, commission, and support industrial coating and dispensing systems at customer locations.
• Deliver technical training to customer operators and maintenance teams to ensure effective use and maintenance of equipment.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
• Support the sales team by identifying opportunities for spare parts, upgrades, and service improvements.
• Plan customer visits efficiently and maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and CRM records.
• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, customer service, and technical support teams across Europe and North America.
