In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of applications, ensuring each one moves efficiently through the processing stages. You will work closely with homeowners, vendors, and internal teams to gather necessary documentation, verify information, and prepare applications for underwriting. What you'll do
- Manage a diverse portfolio of homeowner applications, guiding each application through the various stages of processing from initial submission to final approval.
- Contact homeowners via email or phone to request additional information or clarification needed to complete their application. Use our task management system to track communications and ensure timely follow-up.
- Order and review documentation such as income verification, property reports, and other relevant reports from third-party vendors required for underwriting.
- Maintain ongoing communication with vendors to monitor the status of orders, follow up on pending items, and resolve any issues that may arise during the documentation collection process.
- Verify that all submitted documentation is complete, accurate, and meets the company's guidelines before proceeding to underwriting.
- Assemble the complete application package, conducting an initial review to ensure all necessary components are included and properly documented.
- Collaborate with the Sales team, who serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing updates on application status and ensuring smooth communication.
- Work closely with the Signing and Funding teams to finalize applications, coordinate signing processes, and ensure timely funding of approved applications.
- Maintain detailed records of all application activities, updates, and communications within the company's CRM system, primarily Salesforce.
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in application processing workflows.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and product offerings.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members as needed, sharing best practices and knowledge to promote team success.
- Uphold the company's commitment to excellent customer service by providing clear, professional, and timely communication to homeowners and internal teams.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fields such as loan processing, finance operations, compliance, servicing, paralegal work, or application review.
- Demonstrated success working in roles that require high attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with homeowners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments, building strong relationships and proactively addressing issues.
- Proficiency in computer systems and CRM software, with experience in Salesforce preferred.
- Familiarity with documentation review, order tracking, and process workflows.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

The base salary for this position is $65,000, with additional earning potential through a performance-based monthly incentive.
