We are currently seeking an Application Services Specialty Solution Seller who will be responsible for helping us expand our presence in the North American Market.

The Application Services Specialty Solution Seller will drive the growth of Custom Application offerings and provide subject matter expertise within the Health Plan / Healthcare Payer industry. This critical role involves identifying and researching potential clients, engaging with prospects, describing our services, and closing sales. The seller leverages deep industry knowledge and expertise to understand customer needs, apply consultative selling techniques, and lead the development of solutions and proposals. Our approach is highly collaborative, often requiring orchestration across various client and internal teams, building deep and lasting relationships.

This role is remote within the US, with travel as necessary to meet clients.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  1. Providing technical sales expertise for developing and implementing complex digital products, applications, and solutions.
  2. Engaging in sales, deal strategy, solution development, and digital transformation initiatives.
  3. Using industry knowledge to build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions to drive revenue and customer success.
  4. Engaging with prospects and existing clients through consultative selling to uncover pain points and business needs, guiding them to suitable solutions.
  5. Collaborating with solution teams and experts to develop customized solutions addressing client challenges.
  6. Defining client value and relevance of solutions using industry KPIs.
  7. Maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to provide strategic guidance.
  8. Building and maintaining lasting client and partner relationships by understanding and anticipating their needs.
  9. Assisting in assessing potential applications of digital products to meet client needs, including preparing detailed specifications.
  10. Supporting sales efforts through consultative activities.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in consulting or IT services industry sales.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience negotiating and closing large deals in professional services.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling Custom Application Development, Application Architecture, Cloud Migration, and Legacy Modernization services.
  • At least 10 years of cross-industry experience, with several focused on the Health Plan / Healthcare Payer industry.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
  • Proven experience leading large, complex, strategic sales opportunities.
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with senior leadership at Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire teams and foster a high-performance environment.
  • Attributes include strategic thinking, teamwork, influence, analytical skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Broad business experience in deal shaping and origination.
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership at clients and within NTT DATA.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

For this role, the starting pay range is $168,112 - $280,188, depending on location, experience, skills, and other factors. The position may be eligible for incentives.
