Autoliv is seeking aMechanical Engineer to lead the development and validation of Steering Wheel and Driver Airbag products pre and post-SoP. You will lead, execute and support project activities across cross-functional teams, interface with OEMs, manufacturing facilities and suppliers.
You will negotiate styling with Autoliv processes, validate programs locally, and ensure designs are easy to manufacture while meeting customer specs. Strong CAD, GD&T, and CAE interpretation are essential.
Responsible for the development and validation of Steering Wheel and Driver Airbag products pre and post-SoP.
Lead, execute and support various project activities during technical phases of awarded programs.
This will require collaboration with all Cross Functional Team (CFT) team members (divisional and global), interface with OEM’s, internal supporting groups, manufacturing facilities, and suppliers.
