Job summary

Teradata seeks an Application Security professional to integrate security across the software development lifecycle. You will analyze findings from SAST, DAST, SCA, and IaC tools, and provide actionable remediation to multiple engineering teams.

You will review code across Java, C/C++, Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript and tune CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments. The role emphasizes evaluating AI security, software supply chain risks, and misconfigurations in cloud and container

Qualifications

• Proficient in code review and reasoning about security issues in Java, C/C++, Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Integrate SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC, and container scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and remediate software supply chain risks including malicious packages and dependency confusion.
• Write and maintain security automation scripts in Go.
• Evaluate security requirements against internal and third-party products.

Responsibilities

• The Application Security team integrates and supports security across the SDLC and helps developers build secure applications.
• Analyze and triage findings from SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC, and container scanning tools.
• Deliver remediation guidance to development teams for AppSec findings across the portfolio.
• Review vulnerabilities across Java, C/C++, Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript codebases.
• Integrate and tune AppSec scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines to shift security left.
• Assess web apps and APIs for OWASP Top Ten 2025 vulnerabilities.
