Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an Application Security Engineer to help secure our clients’ cloud and on-premise environments. You will design, implement, and manage secure architectures for DoD enterprise systems, including configuring and auditing F5 BIG-IP and TLS/mTLS protections across hybrid deployments.

You will collaborate with DoD stakeholders, support security tooling like inline inspection proxies, and uphold PKI-based identity and encryption practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting DoD enterprise architecture.
• 3+ years designing and administering F5 BIG-IP.
• 3+ years with In-Line Break/Inspect solutions (reverse/forward proxy).
• Experience configuring TLS and mutual TLS on a proxy.
• Experience with DoD clients and enterprise architecture issues.
• Knowledge of TLS, mTLS, hashing and PKI.
