Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks an Application Programmer III in Plano, TX to join a software development team. You will develop and deliver complex software, build web applications and services (REST/SOAP), and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment with at least 3 days onsite weekly. Proficiency in Java backend, Spring components, and unit testing is expected, along with familiarity with front-end basics (Handlebars, Vue, ReactJS) and common tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume applications and server-side frameworks (Spring MVC).
• Hands-on Spring Framework experience: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
• Strong SOAP web services with XML/JSON and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with front-end basics (Handlebars, Vue, ReactJS).
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit) and tools like Git, Maven, Artifactory, Eclipse.

Our client is seeking a Application Programmer III to join their team. As a Application Programmer III, you will be part of the software development organization supporting delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Java server-side development skills, a proven ability to build and test web services, and the drive to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable software outcomes.

Pay Range: $65-$68/hr

What's the Job?

• Develop and deliver complex software requirements that meet functional, non-functional, and compliance expectations.
• Write production-ready code, unit tests, and ensure solutions integrate cleanly with overall application and system interfaces.
• Build and support web applications and services, including RESTful web services and SOAP-based services using XML and JSON.
• Contribute to story refinement, help define requirements, and guide estimation through the delivery lifecycle.
• Analyze and triage test results across integration, regression, and performance suites; identify root causes and support resolution.

What's Needed?

• Experience working on high-volume applications, including server-side frameworks such as Spring MVC.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Strong understanding of SOAP web services with XML and JSON, plus experience building RESTful web services.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as Handlebars, Vue, and ReactJS.
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit, and familiarity with Git, Maven, Artifactory, and Eclipse (or equivalent IDE).
