Job summary

ManpowerGroup, the parent company of Experis, is seeking an Application Programmer III in Newark, DE. This role focuses on Java/Spring Boot development, translating requirements into design, and delivering production-ready code with collaboration across QA and certification teams.

The position is onsite/hybrid with a minimum of 3 days on-site per week. Pay rate is $60-$65 per hour, with full lifecycle development support and deployment readiness throughout the testing and certification phases.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot and Core Java, including developing J2EE applications using JSP and Servlets.
• Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• App server experience deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere, Tomcat, or Apache.
• Experience with Web API development.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, with proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and WCF services.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business and System Analyst teams to understand system requirements and translate them into low-level design.
• Implement application code following standard coding patterns and guidelines.
• Unit test your code and package it for deployment to higher lanes up to the Production environment.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and product certification teams to support application testing and address fixes identified during the lifecycle.
• Provide application support and updates as needed to maintain readiness through testing and certification cycles.
