Job DescriptionThe Office of Admissions has an outstanding opportunity for has multiple outstanding opportunities for an International Application Processors ( Credential Evaluator 1 (SEIU LOCAL 925 NONSUPERVISORY ) to process international first year applications.About this OpportunityReporting to the Associate Director for International Operations, the International Application Processor is responsible for assisting in the processing and evaluation of a diverse international applicant pool of over 10,000 first-year applications. This position works under the direction of the Assistant Director for International Processing.There will be 5 weeks of fast pace and intensive training. Specialized training may be provided as deemed necessary. The candidates selected would be expected to complete repetitive and detailed procedures with speed and accuracy. Work will be continually reviewed to verify consistent implementation of procedures.Candidates must make a commitment for the duration of the assignment, Thursday, November 12 through January 29.ScheduleWork is completed remotely Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays. Consistent attendance is required.Training schedule (6hr/day): Thursday, November 12 – December 11, 8am to 3pm PDTWork schedule (8hr/day): Beginning Monday, December 14, 8am to 5pm PDTTentative end date: January 29Application Processors will not be scheduled to work on the following dates:Thursday, November 26Friday, November 27Thursday, December 24Friday, December 25Friday, January 1Monday, January 18Key ResponsibilitiesAdmissions Application Processor will work closely with the Assistant Director for International first year processing to help with the data entry and verify completeness of international first year applications.Work remotely, but closely with Office of Admission staff on processing international first year applicationsProcess 60+ international first year applications per day for a wide range of detailed informationConfirm that application files are complete for admission reviewVerify applications for minimum admission requirements and calculate GPAsData enter application informationOther duties as assigned, this may include test score matching, filing transcripts, matching transcripts toapplication files, etc.Learn quickly and apply complicated training materials and policiesAbility to process rapidly and accurately a large workload of filesWork independently for hours at a timeProficient and accurate keyboarding/data entry skillsRequired QualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity your application must demonstrate you meet both the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below.
