The CIAM application provides identity and access management shared services for Hartford digital applications. It includes registration, authentication, profile, and password management capabilities, along with the underlying identity repository and associated access services.

The application owner plays a crucial role in ensuring the application's availability, stability, and quality of service. As the representative of the application, they own all issues, requests, and team deliveries. Responsibilities include:

  1. Production Support: Ensuring smooth operation and addressing operational issues promptly.
  2. Business Relationships: Maintaining strong connections with stakeholders to align the application’s capabilities with business needs.
  3. Strategic Direction: Providing vision and strategic guidance for future enhancements and growth.
  4. Maintenance Delivery: Overseeing regular updates and maintenance to keep the application optimal.
  5. Release Management: Coordinating the release of new features and updates.
  6. Vendor Management: Supervising vendors responsible for support and maintenance.

The application owner ensures the integrity and efficiency of identity and access management services, maintaining security, reliability, and alignment with business objectives through technical expertise and strategic vision.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a technical lead role or higher.
  • Mandatory AWS Cloud skills: EKS, S3, Lambdas, CloudFront, API Gateway (or equivalent in another cloud provider).
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management products is a plus.
  • Experience with Front-End/Mobile technologies like Angular and Ionic, Java, etc., is a plus.
  • 7+ years in IT systems operations and application development, preferably with SRE experience.
  • Understanding of Linux system internals, TCP/IP stack, network routing, and load balancing is a plus.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

Compensation

The annualized base pay range is based on market analysis. Actual pay may vary based on performance, skills, and competencies. The total compensation includes bonuses, incentives, and recognition. The range is:

$126,160 - $189,240
