Job summary

Harvey Nash Technology is seeking an Application Manager for HSE and Product Compliance to act as the functional expert bridging business needs and IT solutions. You will manage HSE-related SAP and non-SAP applications, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements in service delivery.

You will collaborate with external providers, lead small projects, and oversee change management, training, and lifecycle management, including cybersecurity aspects, in a dynamic production

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT delivery team.
• SAP functional analyst with Product Compliance focus.
• Background in HESQ management for production sites with SAP Product Compliance or ERP.
• Experience with non-SAP HSE-related applications is a strong plus.
• Ability to assess business needs and design solutions.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as functional expert interface between business and IT in managing HSE solutions (SAP and non-SAP related to Product Compliance).
• Capture business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Plan and execute functional and technical changes through BAU releases or projects, including hands-on configuration, testing and documentation.
• Secure business operation continuity and prioritize continuous solution and service improvement.
• Collaborate with external providers on incident resolution, support and requests, acting as level 3 expert.
• Lead small projects or contribute as an expert to larger projects within your area.
• Order services from external IT suppliers and internal IT teams to ensure delivery on outcomes.
• Support business change management, including trainings and webinars.
• Work with IT domain architects on the global solution roadmap and design authority.
• Manage the application lifecycle for your portfolio, including cybersecurity vulnerability management.

Application Manager – HSE & Product Compliance

• Act as functional expert and interface between business and IT in managing and implementing HSE solutions (SAP and non-SAP technologies related to Product Compliance)
• Directly engage and collaborate with business stakeholders, capturing business needs and translating them into functional and technical specifications
• Design, plan and execute functional and technical changes through Business As Usual releases or as part of projects, including hands‑on configuration, testing and documentation
• Secure business operation continuity and prioritize continuous solution and service improvement
• Work closely with external providers on incident resolution, support and request fulfilment, acting as a level 3 expert
• Lead small projects (e.g. upgrades) or contribute as an expert to larger projects within your area
• Order services from and collaborate with external IT suppliers and internal IT teams to ensure delivery on expected outcomes
• Support business change management, including conducting trainings and webinars
• Work closely with IT domain architects, contributing to the global solution roadmap and design authority
• Manage the application lifecycle for your portfolio, including cybersecurity vulnerability management

You bring:

• Experience working in an IT delivery team
• Experience as an SAP functional analyst, ideally in the area of Product Compliance
• Background in HESQ management activities for production sites, combined with SAP Product Compliance or other ERP experience
• Experience with non‑SAP HSE‑related applications is a strong plus
• Combined interest in business process, technology and service delivery
• Ability to assess business needs, design solutions, and produce functional and technical analysis
• Strong analytical skills combined with good communication, coordination and training skills
• Ability to work independently, defining targets and prioritizing tasks in a demanding environment
• Structured, customer service‑minded, proactive team player
