The Timberline Group seeks an IT Applications Manager to lead SAP strategy and operations, ensuring reliable, secure SAP environments across the business. You will oversee implementations, upgrades, and integrations, aligning SAP capabilities with organizational goals and driving continuous improvement.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and deep SAP knowledge to optimize business processes and data integrity.
The IT Applications Manager (SAP) is responsible for the strategic oversight, implementation, management, and optimization of SAP applications within the organization. This role involves leading a team of professionals to ensure SAP systems are efficiently supporting business processes, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring system integrity and security. The IT Applications Manager (SAP) will work closely with other IT and business teams to align SAP capabilities with business objectives, provide support, and ensure continuous improvement.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products word processing software, SAP, SAP ABAP and SAP ERP.

Directly supervises 2-4 non-supervisory employees in the IT Applications Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
This position generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform duties outside of the typical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
