What will you do?

• Design, develop, and deploy application integrations using various integration patterns - APIs, microservices, messaging, streaming, event processing, orchestration, etc.
• Leverage standardized platform tools and patterns - Mulesoft Anypoint, Kong API Gateway, etc.
• Maintain a strong focus on industry standards and best practices, including proper design documentation.
• Work in an agile, cross-functional, self-organized delivery squad and have a proactive approach to team activities - standup, planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, etc.
• Collaborate with delivery leads, solution architects, and product managers to ensure we provide the right solution to our stakeholders at the right time.
• "Own" the entire lifecycle of integrations - from requirements through design and implementation towards production deployment and support.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

• Strong software engineering skills - at least 2 years of experience in software development, specifically building integration solutions - APIs, backends, orchestration, microservices, etc.
• Good experience in at least one programming language, preferably - JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or Java
• Good understanding of various integration patterns - APIs, microservices, orchestration, messaging, etc.
• Good experience with modern software development based on heavy usage of Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, etc.

Nice to have

• Experience with leading integration tools - MuleSoft, Boomi, Tibco BW, SAP BTP, etc.
• Experience with API-related standards, tools, and technologies - HTTP, REST, OpenAPI Specification, OAuth 2.0, GraphQL, RPC, etc.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and command line interfaces (UNIX, Linux)
• General understanding of the pharma industry
• Experience with IT delivery in larger teams
