Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Lab Technician within the Adhesive Technologies unit in California. You will operate and maintain lab equipment, develop standardized methods, and prepare customer-facing reports for sales and project teams.

Ideal candidates have a science background, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to read and follow procedures. This non-exempt role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in the sciences.
• 1-3 years of lab experience preferred, but not required.
• Proficient with MS Office and technical report writing.

Responsibilities

• Runs and upkeeps laboratory equipment, supports standardization and administration of test methods.
• Writes customer facing reports for the field Sales/TCS teams, KAMs, Marketing, PD and Innovations or project team.
• Communicates directly with field Sales/TCS teams, KAMs or project team.
• Performs Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action on product complaints.
• Completes Customer Technical Requests and prepares 'customer ready' reports.
• Ensures equipment calibration and safety compliance.
• Fabricates adhesive test specimens and analyzes data.
• Documents lab activities in CAPRIS/ACE and AE database.
• Trains Sales/Marketing and AE staff on products.
• Performs customer lab demonstrations and trainings.

What you´ll do

• Runs and upkeeps laboratory equipment, leads/supports ongoing standardization, harmonization and administration of laboratory test methods
• Writes customer facing reports for the field Sales/TCS teams, KAMs, Marketing, PD and Innovations or project team
• Responsible for directly communicating with the field Sales/TCS teams, KAMs or project team
• Performs / supports completion of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plan on all product related performance complaints
• Completes Customer Technical Request
• Testing and Reports within the AE database or equivalent, including 'customer ready' reports
• Ensures laboratory and application equipment are calibrated and safety checked in compliance with local regulations
• Supports internal and external technical requests and projectsFabricate adhesive based test specimens followed by data collection, collation and analysis
• Responsible for CAPRIS/ACE and AE database documentation of the performed lab activities
• Trains Sales/Marketing and other AE personnel on productsPerforms customer lab demonstrations and customer training

Thehourly pay range for this role is $29.00 and $33.00. This range reflects thegood‑faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects tooffer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classifiedas non‑exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance withfederal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees inthis position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, orother forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company alsooffers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensationwill depend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training,certifications, and work location.
