You’ll help develop innovative treatment solutions, prepare competitive proposals, and support projects that improve water infrastructure and environmental sustainability.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to expand beyond traditional design work and play a key role in both technical sales and project development.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop technical proposals, cost estimates, and equipment pricing for municipal and industrial water treatment projects.
  • Support bid and tender submissions by preparing technical documentation, specifications, pricing, and required bid materials.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to consulting engineers, contractors, municipalities, end users, and sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Support the transition of awarded projects to project management and engineering teams.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely technical guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Utilize engineering and sales tools including CRM systems, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and proprietary treatment selection software.
  • Maintain accurate customer and project information within Salesforce.
  • Stay current on treatment technologies, industry trends, and product developments through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Participate in industry organizations, local water initiatives, and cross-functional training opportunities.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, equipment selection, and technical proposal development.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, contribute, and achieve results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience participating in municipal or industrial bidding/tendering processes.
  • Hands-on experience with controls, electrical panels, instrumentation, or mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Exposure to water treatment process design, equipment applications, or treatment technologies.
