Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities for Application Engineer/Scientist (Hardware Speed Optimization Focus)

  • Design and implement high‑performance antenna, transceiver test systems and digital to RF to interface with external hardware systems, ensuring minimal latency and maximum throughput
  • Optimize RF and digital paths and OTA domains to enhance system real‑time responsiveness and reduce measurement time in hardware communication
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system‑level requirements and ensure overall designs meet speed and performance targets
  • Integrate analog and digital phased array designs with Keysight's antenna test solutions or microcontrollers, enabling dynamic control of external hardware speed
  • Conduct timing analysis and application documentation to communicate solution speed and accuracy
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)
  • Solid understanding of RF and antenna and embedded systems
  • Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Measurement tools such as VNAs spectrum analyzer and antenna measurements

California & New Hampshire Pay Range: USD $118,660.00- $125,340.00/Year

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
