Application Engineer - Protection (Multiple Openings)

Responsibilities:

• help customers apply SEL products through visits, demonstrations, training courses, and telephone contacts;


• contribute to product specifications, applications, and testing software and literature;


• broadcast new information on product applications and testing to SEL national field offices;

TRAVEL:

These full-time positions will be based at SEL's Charlotte field office located at 901 Center Park Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28217. Because SEL has numerous customers nationwide, some travel is required, as the incumbent will occasionally and on a short-term basis be deployed to various customer sites. Candidates must therefore be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States on an ongoing basis. However, the position requires regular on-site work at the Charlotte field office and does not permit remote work or work-from-home arrangements, notwithstanding any required business travel to customer sites.
