Job summary

SaniSure is seeking an experienced Application Engineer in Camarillo, CA to translate customer requirements into engineered filling needle solutions for aseptic fill-finish manufacturing. The role acts as a technical liaison between internal engineering and external customers, driving product configuration and troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with Sales and Product Line teams to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA) and manufacturing constraints.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience in biotech, pharma, or medical devices.
• Experience with filling needle design, assembly, or application engineering for aseptic fill-finish.
• Knowledge of EMA/FDA regulatory expectations and final fill processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep product knowledge of SaniSure's filling needle portfolio.
• Lead customer-facing technical inquiries, proposals, and counterproposals.
• Translate requirements into engineering inputs, drawings, and BOMs for assemblies.
• Support quoting with make/buy analyses and supplier qualification.
