Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies division in the United States, Rocky Hill, CT, seeks a strategic Engineering leader to head the North America Application Engineering organization. You will drive strategy and execution for profitable growth across the ACM portfolio.

You will partner with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Business Development to translate customer needs into differentiated technical solutions, and you will build a high-performing team while driving customer engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical, application engineering, product development, or customer-facing engineering teams.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions to align technical work with commercial goals.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex projects, translating market needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management from lab to executive level.

  • Establish and execute regional Application Engineering priorities that align with global objectives and roadmaps.
  • Accelerate development and transfer of application expertise to enable scalable deployment of best practices.
  • Lead technical support activities for new product introductions, customer trials, qualification programs, and commercialization efforts.
  • Manage departmental resources, budgets, laboratories, equipment, and ensure safety and quality compliance.

What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ Years of experience managing technical, application engineering, product development, or customer-facing engineering teams in a manufacturing, adhesives, specialty chemicals, or industrial environment.
