Job summary

ClearEdge is seeking an Application Engineer IV in Laurel, Maryland to support complex data-driven analytic systems for critical mission operations. This role involves developing and maintaining software for data processing, security assessments, and compliance standards.

Candidates should have substantial experience in analytic development, proficiency in Python, and a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. The position also comes with comprehensive benefits, including a $10k training allowance and flexible retirement options.

Qualifications

• 12 years experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• 10 years experience with an Associate's Degree.
• 8 years experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• 6 years experience with a Master's Degree.
• 4 years experience with a Doctorate’s Degree.
• IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop analytic tools and data pipelines.
• Write and debug Python code for mission data processing.
• Support system authorization activities with RMF documentation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and interpret Nessus results.
• Monitor data systems for quality, security, and continuity.
• Collaborate with teams to prioritize data and security needs.
• Support Agile processes like sprint planning and reviews.
