Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented EW/RADAR Application Engineer ideally based in or near Fort Walton Beach, FL or Atlanta, GA. As an Application Engineer, you’ll provide solutions to complex problems faced by engineers and scientists designing and building today’s most advanced EW/RADAR solutions. Working alongside our sales, marketing, and R&D teams, you will be demonstrating products, providing training, and delivering technical support to some of our key Aerospace & Defense customers. By functioning as a consultative solutions provider, our Application Engineers are often treated as an extension of the customer’s internal technical teams. Responsibilities
  • Technical support for RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments.
  • Consultant to customers involved in RDT&E of EW/RADAR solutions and techniques.

Qualifications
  • B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience working with test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Vector Network Analyzers.
  • Experience in the test and evaluation of advanced EW/RADAR systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced EW/RADAR system requirements, techniques and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% primarily within the Southern US, with occasional US & international travel.
  • In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and be a US Citizen (customer requirement).

Compensation

The total compensation for this position is $131K-$175K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
