Job summary

Advantest is seeking a software/electrical engineer with a strong test engineering background to develop ATE test programs on the Advantest 93k platform and support customers worldwide.

You will write Java/Python scripts, leverage AI tools, and collaborate with R&D, marketing, and customer teams to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor testing solutions, with travel ~5% to customer and site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test programs (Java) for SOC digital devices on Advantest 93k testing platform.
• Support customers on debugging and resolving SmarTest SW issues.
• Write scripts/tools (Perl/Python) and adopt AI solutions to improve process quality and time to market.
• Train customers on new SW and HW solutions from R&D and the Advantest Application Development Center.
• Collect and collaborate with R&D and external teams on customer requirements.
