Location: Billerica, MA
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000+ plus Bonus + Benefits

Our client manufactures capital equipment for the medical industry and is seeking an Application Project Engineer to join their team in Billerica, MA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in both pre-sale technical support and post-sale project execution. Acting as a key liaison between sales, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams, you will ensure seamless delivery of custom-engineered solutions. The ideal candidate is an engineer with excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Application Project Engineer Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and engineering support during the pre-sale process
• Review and verify sales orders for technical accuracy and feasibility
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate product configurations
• Develop facility layouts, equipment cut sheets, and CAD blocks
• Ensure building utilities meet capital equipment installation requirements
• Manage project timelines from purchase order to production start
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to meet project objectives
• Provide second-level technical support to the customer service team
• Diagnose and resolve equipment-related technical issues
• Assist R&D and manufacturing teams with product improvements
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for equipment installations

Application Project Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is required
• 3+ years engineering or project management experience is required
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications is required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects is required
• Ability to work 100% on-site is required
