We are seeking a highly experienced Application Engineer role. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in Genesys with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Able to conduct impact analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex production issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments preferred.
• Knowledge of financial services and core banking systems is advantageous.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality assurance and software best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.

Requirements:

• Seeking experienced Test Automation Engineer with 5–10 years in software testing.
• Design and develop programs for automated testing of new and existing software.
• Write robust automation scripts following industry best practices and guidelines.
• Develop test automation frameworks and reusable components.
• Conduct hands-on simulation and testing of automated processes.
• Automate regression, integration, and functional testing.
• Use tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Analyze test results to detect software failures and root causes.
• Collaborate closely with QA Analysts and Software Developers.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with Application Engineer.
• Should have 5–10 years of Application Engineer expertise.
• Knowledge of any programming language is a plus.
