Job summary

HEIDENHAIN Corporation in Ashville, NY is seeking an Application Specialist to support ACU-RITE brand CNCs, train channel partners, end users and OEMs. You will apply milling/turning and programming techniques to showcase solutions and keep product knowledge current.

You will travel within the US, Canada and Mexico to train customers, support open houses and seminars, collaborate with other departments, and help close deals with technically solid demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a programmer machinist or tool and die/mold maker.
• Knowledge of machining high precision metal components for Mold-Die, Medical and Aerospace industries.
• Experience or knowledge of CAM programming.

This role will also require the employee to always be up to date with current and new product information, market trends and competition offerings.
