Application Development Manager – $2500 Sign-On Bonus

Salary: $113,000 - $142,000

Location: Broomfield, CO (Hybrid: 50% in-office, 50% remote)

Overview:
The Application Development Manager leads a team focused on enhancing our Credit Union’s core banking platform (Symitar) and other enterprise applications. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and delivery of solutions that improve operational efficiency, while ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a distributed development team, overseeing resource planning and project execution.
  • Collaborate with the PMO and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Foster a supportive team environment that promotes professional growth, diversity, and innovation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in software solutions and application management practices.
  • Maintain high standards for coding, compliance, and security while integrating external solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years’ experience with financial institution technologies (e.g., Jack Henry, Symitar, MeridianLink).
  • Expertise in software development methodologies, version control, and testing.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience, with an emphasis on coaching and mentoring.
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with agile project management practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Symitar/PowerOn and IBM AIX.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and relational databases (SQL, HTML, JavaScript).

Compensation:
$135,000 per year
