Job summary

re-zoo-me in Tampa, FL is seeking a Software Engineer to drive technical development and testing of medium- to large-scale projects from inception to user acceptance. You will work with a Scrum team on design, implementation, and collaboration with Product Owners to refine upcoming work, ensuring robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include learning from technical leadership, participating in architectural discussions, and supporting production software operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, math, or a related science field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of software development experience.
• Experience with Azure, .NET, and SQL Server; strong REST API sense.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical development and testing of software from inception through user acceptance for medium- to large-scale projects, typically involving multiple departments and high risk situations


• Work with your scrum team collaboratively on technical design and implementation (coding)


• Work with the Product Owner(s) on helping estimate and refine upcoming work


• Learn proactively from technical leadership, understand technical direction, and participate in technical discussions


• Support production software operations

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or other science field required or equivalent experience

Required Skills

• Experience: 1 year experience developing software


• Experience working with Azure technologies, Event-driven programming, API programming and relational databases in .NET and Microsoft SQL Server


• Experience building REST-based API services, micro service architectures, messaging frameworks such as EventHub, Service Bus

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Testing and Automation is desired


• Experience in Azure ADF is desired

Pay range and compensation package

$60,000-80,000 + 15% Bonus
