Job summary

Associated Grocers Northeast in Pembroke, NH is seeking a software engineer with strong .NET skills to design, develop, and maintain cloud-enabled applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement scalable Azure-based solutions, and work with SQL databases, RESTful APIs, and BI tools to support business needs. Prior SDLC experience and familiarity with Azure DevOps are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-4 years of SDLC experience, requirements gathering to deployment.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET/NET 6, SQL, and front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• BI tools like Power BI or Tableau preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient, scalable, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Demonstrate a foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Synapse and Azure DevOps.
• Write clean and efficient code following established coding standards and guidelines across various platforms.
• Assist in developing and maintaining applications and databases, working closely with Business Analysts to gather requirements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to the team’s continuous improvement.
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases, data migration/ETL processes and .NET 8 applications.
• Design, develop, maintain, and support RESTful APIs that enable secure, scalable, and reliable integration between internal and external systems.
• Support internal teams by troubleshooting software issues and recommending improvements as necessary.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve productivity.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
