Job summary

Mecklenburg County is seeking an Application Developer (Level 2) to support ERP, Finance, CRM and other business applications. You will install, configure, and support vendor packages, write and maintain code, and perform data analysis and troubleshooting under supervision. Strong C#, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and SQL Server skills are essential.

Experience with Agile practices and Azure DevOps, and a Bachelor's in IT/CS are preferred; combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support of existing applications, internally developed and vendor provided
• Assist in programming efforts and modifications for applications and automated processes
• Develop documentation and procedures to support processes
• Analyze and evaluate business processes and end user needs
• Assess, test and implement software updates and security patches
• Coordinate software updates with staff
• Work with vendors to understand, configure, enhance software products
• Develop recommendations for improving software support services
• Participate in development and implementation of efficient processes
