Job summary

Musco Lighting is seeking an Application Developer II in Muscatine, IA. The role focuses on software development, reporting, and ongoing maintenance, coordinating with business areas to meet objectives and deliver robust information tools.

You will work with C#, Blazor, REST endpoints, and APIs, possibly touching Progress Openedge ABL code, and mentor junior developers while ensuring security and high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education and experience.
• 4+ years of software development or demonstrated ability.
• Experience developing in C#, Blazor, REST Endpoints and APIs is a plus.
• May be required to work with existing business system code in Progress Openedge ABL.
• Working knowledge of application integrations, databases, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain and deploy complex system enhancements, new modules and applications.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
• Collaborate with business users, QA, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements.
• Follow and help refine development best practices.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews.
