Job summary

Fred Beans Automotive Group is seeking an Application Developer to build a new internal development function from the ground up. You will work with leadership and employees across dealerships to identify problems, develop practical solutions, test in real environments, and continually improve what you build.

Two main tracks: create apps that streamline processes and develop proprietary technology with potential to become external offerings for automotive businesses.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with .NET Framework, C#, VB, ASP.NET and/or MAUI.
• SQL/MySQL experience preferred.
• GitHub or similar version-control experience.
• Ability to take a project from idea through development, testing, launch, and ongoing support.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build applications and tools to simplify processes and improve workflows.
• Digitize incident reporting and employee referral programs.
• Streamline hiring and termination processes.
• Develop dealership workflow and operational tools.
• Identify manual processes ripe for software automation.
• Build proprietary technology with potential revenue impact.
