Job summary

Dover Networks LLC is seeking a general-purpose software engineer embedded in operations for up-and-coming projects. You will own the full product lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance of all team tools, including integrating tools from other teams into our toolkit for mission-centric results.

Qualifications

• Must produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python with network programming experience.
• Provide support for fielded software systems and coordinate with operators and analysts.
• Reverse engineering experience required; familiarity with modern VCS/tools.
• Experience with Atlassian suite (Confluence/Jira/Bamboo) is preferred.

Requires Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Poly Salary Range: $200k-$219k per year with an additional $50k-$55k in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions Description: You will act as a general-purpose software engineer embedded in operations for up-and-coming projects. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle including: design, prototype, development, release, deployment, and maintenance of all tools developed by the team. In addition to the above you will also be responsible modifying other teams tools and integrating products developed by other teams into our toolkit for mission-centric results. You will work closely with analysts, operators, and other software engineers to define new requirements and provide tactical support to operations. This includes quick reaction operational support and the support in addition to the longer development lifecycle of more feature rich capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Augment existing tools.

• Produce end-to-end toolsets that can operate within mission constraints.
• Provide technical consulting support across various software products and technologies, advising customers on operational direction.
• Take part in peer code reviews.

Skill Requirements:

• Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python, with explicit experience in network programming.
• Provide support for fielded software systems.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with users of differing technical knowledge including operators, analysts, and other developers to deliver finished products to the customer.
• Reverse engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
• Atlassian Tools (Confluence/Jira/Bamboo).

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with any of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Bash, Powershell, Perl, C#, Rust.
• Experience developing CNO specific software in Linux/Window/Embedded environments.
• Experience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development.
• Experience with Malware RE.
• Solid understanding of cryptography.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
