Job summary

Ariel Partners seeks a seasoned IT professional to lead the integration of Financial Focus with the APSNet case management system. The role involves designing 3-tier financial applications, ensuring data integrity, and coordinating with auditors and bank staff.

Proficiency in .NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies is required. The ideal candidate will develop documentation, implement upgrade procedures, and support database, hardware, and network systems while guiding project teams

Qualifications

Job description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project is the integration of Financial Focus with the APSNet case management system and includes enhancements such as modifications to file processing, electronic funds transfer, and overpayment module. This project includes necessary technological upgrades to ensure the system can run on new platforms.

TASK & DUTIES:

• Develop system documentation
• Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases, hardware systems, operating systems software, network systems software, security, and client server systems. Perform Testing/Evaluation
• Develops, implements, and monitors information technology quality assurance standards. Performs queries against the database to ensure integrity of data.
• Analyzes and diagrams accounting and financial entries.
• Conducts meetings with bank representatives, program area accountants, auditors, and technical staff. Perform System Design/Programming
• Work with ITS staff (e.g., managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan program implementation, enhancements, and changes
• Design reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms
• Occasionally contact customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem
• Recommend business process flow improvements and clearly communicate problem/resolution process to project management.
• See out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Provide progress document to upper management, using change management tools such as Service now and Jira, maintain program in different environments
• Develop, improve, implement, and maintain databases, enabling administrators and users to update, retrieve, arrange, or delete data within databases
• Provide general programming assistance to other ITS programmers/projects as may be needed.
• Assist ITS technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves

• Recommends technical solution for payments, changes to accounting processes and compliance with security and accounting guidelines.
• Provides subject matter expertise on changes to the accounting system to ensure integrity of data and design.
• Performs analysis of financial system and informs design/architecture.
• Maintains version control and understands concepts of Continuous Integration.
• Tests programs and systems and integrates system modules
• Develop detailed systems operations designs.
• Develops operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and software.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:
