Case Western Reserve University is seeking a software developer/analyst to analyze requirements and design high quality applications and reports supporting University Relations and Development. You will research and develop technical requirements and create data configurations and reporting.
You will also troubleshoot performance issues and retain core business knowledge. The role emphasizes ETL, data modeling, SQL, and creating dashboards and data cubes, with hybrid work up to two remote days
Under general supervision, analyze customer and technical requirements and design and deliver high quality and robust applications and reports supporting the division of University Relations and Development. Research and develop technical requirements for enhancements to existing or new application software and design and develop data configurations and reporting. Responsible for developing and retaining core knowledge of the business application and becoming a key resource in troubleshooting performance issues.

CONTACTS
Department: Daily contact with staff within the division to maintain workflow/ exchange information.
University: Daily contact with University Relations and Development personnel to provide technical assistance with applications.
External: Contact with vendors as needed to perform essential functions.
Students: None.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No direct supervisory responsibility. May supervise work of project team members (when assigned as project lead). Provide mentoring for junior level application developers and project analysts. May ensure others comply with established standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field and at least 3 to 5 years of progressive experience; OR Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field and 5 years of progressive experience; OR High school education and at least 9 years of relevant experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Professional office setting. This position will have access to secure information such as alumni and donor personal information. There will be frequent pressure from demanding customers. Due to time constraints, many functions must be completed on set deadlines. Travel between various locations on campus will be required. The position requires typing on a computer keyboard and using a computer mouse and a printer. The employee may be required to attend meetings/functions outside normal working hours. The employee will be required to carry a cell phone, during and after their normal work hours, including weekends, to attend to after-hours emergencies.
This position is eligible for hybrid work arrangement up to two remote days per week at the discretion of the department. New employees may begin a hybrid schedule upon approval from the supervisor, successful completion of an orientation period and signing the remote work checklist certification form.
