Job summary

Information Management Group (IMG) in Washington, DC seeks an Application Developer to design, implement, and maintain workflow solutions that boost operational efficiency and support mission objectives. You will build new applications and enhancements, write tests, and draft end-user documentation.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, proficiency in key languages, and familiarity with React/Angular/.NET/Django/Spring Boot, along with SDLC know-how. DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application development.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# or equivalents).
• Experience with modern development frameworks (React, Angular, .NET, Django, Spring Boot).
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
• Experience in MySQL database operations.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new applications/databases and enhancements based on product backlog.
• Develop and execute test plans, using automated testing tools when possible.
• Draft and revise end-user operational instructions and technical documentation.
• Provide maintenance support, including resolution of defects and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement both new applications and/or databases and enhancements for existing applications and/or databases based on requirements identified in the product backlog
• Develop and execute test plans, leveraging automated testing tools when possible, to validate functional requirements are met
• Draft and revise end-user operational instructions and other technical program documentation as needed for new or revised applications
• Provide maintenance support, including resolution of defects and enhancement requests, for existing applications based on documented requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years ofexperience in application developmentto include the following:
  • Proficiencyin common programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or others depending onenvironment).
