Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an nCino Application Developer to join our Enterprise Technology and Operations team in Midvale, Utah. You will support and configure the nCino Lending Origination System and Salesforce to streamline commercial banking workflows and improve digital capabilities for bankers and clients.

In this role you will translate business needs into platform enhancements, ensure platform health, and help drive enterprise velocity while maintaining governance and data integrity

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on configuration or development on nCino Bank Operating System and Salesforce platform.
• Strong knowledge of SOQL/SQL, relational data modeling, and standard database concepts.
• Experience delivering solutions through structured SDLC and change management processes.
• Proven ability to debug, test, and resolve complex application issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Platform Solutions: Support, design, configure, and enhance features within nCino Bank Operating System and Salesforce to support complex banking workflows.
• Translate Requirements: Work with end users, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and engineers to turn business needs into platform enhancements.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain high system availability and data integrity.
• Optimize Business Workflows: Identify automation opportunities within native nCino/Salesforce features to improve user experience.
• Maintain Quality & Governance: Document changes, uphold data governance, and ensure release compliance with banking controls.

We are seeking an nCino Application Developer to join our team at Zions Bancorporation. At Zions, we are transforming our lending experience, and as an nCino Application Developer , you will play a pivotal role in supporting, configuring, scaling, and optimizing our enterprise nCino Lending Origination System. In this high-impact role, you will bridge business strategy and Salesforce technology - collaborating with cross-functional teams to engineer seamless workflows, eliminate friction for commercial bankers, and deliver digital capabilities that drive enterprise velocity.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Solutions: Support, design, configure, and enhance features within the nCino Bank Operating System and Salesforce platform to support complex commercial banking workflows.
• Translate Requirements: Partner closely with end users, business partners, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and engineers to turn complex business needs into clean, maintainable platform enhancements.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Proactively monitor platform health, troubleshoot escalated incidents, and maintain high system availability and data integrity.
• Optimize Business Workflows: Identify automation opportunities within native nCino/Salesforce features to retire technical debt and enhance user experience.
• Maintain Quality & Governance : Document system changes, uphold data governance standards, and ensure release compliance with enterprise banking controls.

Qualifications:

• Core Platform Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on configuration or development experience on the nCino Bank Operating System and Salesforce platform.
• Data & Query Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SOQL/SQL, relational data modeling, and standard database concepts.
• SDLC & Engineering Fundamentals: Proven experience delivering solutions through structured software development lifecycles and change management processes.
• Analytical Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to independently debug, test, and resolve complex application and workflow issues.
• Education / Technical Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
