Job summary

The Josef Group in Maryland is seeking an Application Engineer (DevOps) with TS/SCI and Full Scope Poly to lead automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure management. The role emphasizes delivering automation that enables all teams to operate smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Docker, Python scripting, AWS/C2S or similar cloud environments, and GitLab Pipelines, along with Ansible automation and robust Linux skills. Elasticsearch is a preferred plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with containerization using Docker.
• Scripting in Python to automate tasks and pipelines.
• Cloud experience with AWS, C2S, or similar environments.
• Hands-on with GitLab Pipelines for CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Ansible for automation pipelines.
• Strong Linux proficiency and command-line skills.
