What is this career opportunity?

The Financials Services Technology Bureau is looking for an Application Developer to provide support to the State’s enterprise PeopleSoft Financials system. You would work on a team with 3 other Application Engineers reporting to the section manager. You would also work closely with our team of 6 System Analysts depending on the projects assigned to you. Your responsibilities would include technical analyses, software development, and programming support of the Financials modules.

This position affords the opportunity to telework from a remote location within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be outlined as part of the job offer and must adhere to state policy.

What are we looking for?

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT-related field; OR
  • An associate’s degree with coursework emphasizing programming, and two years of applicable experience as an IT professional providing application development and systems analysis services; OR
  • Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
