• DAX Formulas: Write DAX calculations, including measures and calculated columns.
• Report Creation: Build interactive reports and dashboards with slicers, visuals and drill-through.
• Power BI Service & Deployment: Publish reports, manage access, schedule refreshes, optimize performance.
• AI Familiarity: Leverage AI tools to enhance data analysis workflows; Google AI tools a plus.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams and present insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business and data analysts to understand requirements and business objectives for reports and visualizations. Identify relevant data sources and attributes for use in models. Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and process optimization.
• Data Modeling: Design and document efficient conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Deliver row and column-level security within semantic models and establish re-usable semantic data models. Optimize data structures and create relationships between tables.
• Data Source Connectivity Setup: Connect to various data sources, including APIs, Big Query, ArcGIS, SQL databases, and Excel files. Ensure seamless data extraction and transformation, collaborating with the Client Integrations team.
• DAX Formulas: Write proficient DAX formulas, including calculated columns, measures, and custom calculations.
• Report Creation: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards. Incorporate slicers, visuals, and drill-through functionality, optimizing performance with tools like DAX Studio.
• Power BI Service & Deployment: Publish reports to the Power BI Service, manage access controls, automate refresh schedules, and optimize report performance for large datasets.
• AI Familiarity: Work with AI tools to enhance processes and optimize data analysis workflows. Experience with Google AI tools is a plus.
• Collaboration & Communication Skills: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and deliver reports that align with business goals. Present complex data insights clearly to stakeholders.
