JPS Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking an Application Developer in Atlanta, GA to support configuration, development, testing, and maintenance of a COTS application and subsystems. You will work across requirements analysis, configuration, user access, scripting, debugging, source control, testing and production support.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into solutions, configuring features and permissions, implementing changes, scripting, testing, documentation, and collaboration

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/ISM/Math or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL databases.
• 2+ years of experience with object-oriented development (.NET, Java, C#, VB).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of SDLC and coding standards.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and environments.
• Local candidates only; background check and fingerprinting may be required.

Job Description:

Seeking an Application Developer to support configuration, development, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of a six-module Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) application and related subsystems. The role will work across requirements analysis, application configuration, user access, scripting, debugging, source control, testing, implementation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into application solutions.
• Configure application features, reference tables, user roles, and access permissions.
• Develop and implement application changes based on approved requests.
• Create scripts and troubleshoot application issues.
• Perform software testing and support production releases.
• Prepare technical and implementation documentation.
• Manage source code and follow established development standards.
• Support application users and resolve production-related issues.
• Work effectively with both Agile and traditional software development methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or Mathematics preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
• 2+ years of experience with object-oriented development, such as .NET, Java, C#, or VB.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and application environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with web services and APIs.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
