Job Opportunity: Application Deployment Specialist

TriTech Enterprise Systems is seeking an experienced Application Deployment Specialist to support the Department of Treasury, specifically the IRS/MeF project. The position is currently active with a required IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) / 58C Tier 2RS clearance.

This is a remote position. However, depending on business needs, the candidate may need to work onsite at the IRS building in New Carrollton, MD. The position duration is from June 2025 through March 2026, with the possibility of extension.

About the MeF Platform

MeF is a platform used for electronically filing returns with the IRS. It offers SOA-based web services for filers and web applications for IRS personnel, supporting the validation and downstream processing of returns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incident management: Support troubleshooting, user inquiries, and develop knowledge articles (50%)
2. System testing: Support system integration, functional, and non-functional testing (25%)
3. Application support: Assist in application development and deployment (15%)
4. Maintenance: Support infrastructure component upgrades and enterprise tools (10%)

Required Skills and Experience

• Java/JEE (JSP), HTML5, XSLT, XML, Spring Framework – 4 years
• JBOSS EAP V8, Apache Web Server v2.4 – 4 years
• RedHat V8+ – 4 years
• UNIX command line and shell scripting (Bash, Bourne) – 4 years
