Application Builder - Workforce Applications

Anaplan is addressing the toughest challenges in workforce planning, supporting strategy to execution with flexible, user-friendly, and out-of-the-box workforce applications integrated with our Anaplan Intelligence platform. Our solutions serve some of the world's largest companies, providing real-time insights and enabling smarter, data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

As an Application Builder within Anaplan's Workforce Center of Excellence, you will develop out-of-the-box and extendable applications on the platform for planning, forecasting, and reporting across industries, including Strategic Workforce Planning, Compensation Modeling, Operational Workforce Planning, and Organizational Design.

You will be responsible for delivering applications based on requirements from Application Architects and Workforce Product Management, collaborating with GTM and Professional Services teams to maximize application capabilities.

This role requires excellent collaboration skills, a deep understanding of HR systems and workforce planning use cases, proficiency with the Anaplan platform and model builder, and an innovative mindset with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and deliver Workforce Applications leveraging Anaplan platform components such as model and UX building, user management, data integration, reporting, PlanIQ, etc.
2. Partner with Product Management to understand and document application requirements, updating as needed.

1. Design and build applications and UX to meet requirements, collaborating with Application Architects for complex needs.

1. Ensure the developed user experience is intuitive, meets UX standards, and is easy to use.

1. Participate in quality assurance, refining applications through successful delivery.

1. Upgrade applications with new platform capabilities based on feedback from prospects, customers, and partners.

1. Collaborate with Advisors, Product Management, Professional Services, and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure the Workforce COE delivers:

1. Effective demos, training, guides, and comprehensive configuration and implementation content, including best practices.

1. Continuously improve and optimize existing applications.

1. Act as a trusted knowledge expert for your applications, supporting sales and customer success efforts, including enabling partners.

Key Metrics

• Meet deadlines for new releases and upgrades of Workforce applications.
• Ensure adoption and successful deployment of applications through enablement and customer implementations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an Anaplan Model Builder, with deployment of workforce planning use cases, and at least Level 3 Certification.
• Strong engineering discipline ensuring scalable, configurable applications managed through to delivery.

• Preferred but not required: experience with broader Anaplan platform facets (PlanIQ, Optimizer, ADO, Workflow, Polaris, etc.), headcount and strategic workforce planning, product management, GTM operations, and enablement.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and knowledge-sharing skills, with a results-driven approach and collaborative mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Base Salary Range: $144,000 — $207,000 USD
