Job summary

The Huntington in Columbus, OH is seeking an Application Architect to define technical vision and drive architecture of core software platforms. You will create and maintain the application architecture roadmap and govern design standards across cross-functional teams.

You will mentor delivery staff, evaluate solutions against business requirements, and ensure alignment with the enterprise architecture while embracing agile, cloud, security, and performance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile Architecture delivery practices, tools, and execution.
• Experience with security, performance, availability and environment configuration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the application architecture and roadmap.
• Design, document, govern frameworks/platforms for large delivery teams.
• Be accountable for the architecture strategy in line with enterprise architecture.
• Communicate architectural trends and best practices within the domain.
• Mentor technical delivery staff and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Support SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based data solutions.
