Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise application architecture.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Angular, TypeScript.
• Experience with Azure cloud, DevSecOps and secure SDLC.
• Ability to lead across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design, technology selection, and governance for enterprise applications and Azure-based solutions.
• Create and maintain solution architectures, application blueprints, technical roadmaps, and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and technical risk assessments.
• Establish architectural patterns and standards for APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, integrations, and cloud-native applications.
• Define application resiliency, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity architectures.

Job description

The Application Architect is responsible for defining and governing enterprise application architecture, Azure cloud solutions, security, DevSecOps, and engineering standards. This role provides technical leadership for application modernization, cloud adoption, API and microservices architecture, and secure software delivery. Working across business and technology teams, the Architect drives scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions while promoting Shift-Left engineering, BDD-driven development, automation, security, and quality-first delivery practices.
