- The Application Architect willserve as a key technical leader, providing architectural guidance,integration expertise, and implementation oversight for enterpriseapplications. This individual will not only review and design systemarchitectures but also ensure successful integration of applicationsacross platforms and end-to-end implementation of enterprise solutions.
- The ideal candidate will comefrom a hands-on, technical background, with the ability to actively guidedevelopment teams, troubleshoot issues, and validate that organizationaland industry standards are being followed.
- This role requires closecollaboration with other architects, developers, and business stakeholdersto drive the design, integration, and implementation of scalable, secure,and high-performing systems.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Provide architectural directionand technical leadership for enterprise applications.
- Review current and new systemsto ensure standards and best practices are consistently applied.
- Lead and validate systemintegration across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Oversee end-to-end solutionimplementation, from design through deployment, ensuring successfuldelivery.
- Collaborate withcross-functional teams to evaluate, recommend, and implement applicationmodernization strategies.
- Ensure application security,compliance, and performance meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Integration& Implementation Experience (Highly Critical):
- Proven track record leadingenterprise application integration projects across multiple platforms (cloud,on-prem, hybrid).
- Strong experience in end-to-endsolution implementation including design, build, testing, deployment, andpost-implementation support.
- Ability to bridge businessrequirements with technical solutions during integration and implementationefforts.
TechnicalSkills:
- Experience with modern .NETdevelopment (version 6 or later).
- Strong background in deployingsoftware to public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and privatedata centers (Windows/Linux VMs).
- Proficiency with DevOpsplatforms, automation, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps,Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.).
- Experience with SDLC,deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning.
- Recent experience leading thetechnical design and integration of distributed systems or other complexenterprise projects.
- Minimum of ten (10) years ofrelevant work experience delivering enterprise customer-facing solutions.
- Minimum of six (6) yearsdesigning and building enterprise-class distributed systems.
- Minimum of six (6) years inhighly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
- Prior experience in ChildrenAdministration systems and programs is required.
- Strong background working withSLED (State, Local, Education) clients.
- Experience supporting FED(Federal Government) projects or agencies.
- Familiarity with governmentcompliance, procurement, and regulatory standards.
- Prior experience in highlyregulated sectors such as finance, pensions, healthcare, or governmentsystems.
Desirable(Preferred but not Required):
- Architect-level certificationsin one (1) or more technical disciplines (Windows, Linux, Cloud,Networking, Security).
- Experience with large-scaleenterprise application integration programs (ERP, CRM, pension/benefitssystems, or financial platforms).
